Cheniere Energy begins production in sixth LNG train

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is now being produced at Train 6 of Cheniere Energy Partners’ Sabine Pass liquefaction facility in Cameron Parish, reports Gas World.

Announcing the first production on Nov. 23, Cheniere Energy said substantial completion of Train 6 is expected to be achieved in first quarter 2022, approximately one year ahead of the guaranteed completion date.

Once substantial completion is achieved, Bechtel Energy will transfer the completed train to Cheniere Partners, resulting in Sabine Pass’ total production capacity hitting approximately 30 million tons of LNG annually. Read the entire story.
