ExxonMobil begins two-month overhaul of catalytic cracker, hydrocracker

ExxonMobil has shut down its fluidic catalytic cracker and hydrocracker in Baton Rouge for a two-month planned overhaul, Reuters reports. The work began on last week at the 522,500 barrel-per-day refinery, those familiar with plant operations said.

The shutdown of the FCC and hydrocracker begins a scheduled multi-unit overhaul involving both the refinery and the adjoining ExxonMobil chemical plant in the Baton Rouge Complex. Reuters has the full story.
