Röhm America LLC has officially closed its Westwego methyl methacrylate (MMA) production facility, marking the end of an era for the site as the company shifts production to its newly operational world-scale plant in Bay City, Texas, reports Plastics Today.
The Westwego shutdown, completed at the end of June, was announced in the company’s strategic transformation plan two years ago. The closure coincides with the successful startup of Röhm’s new flagship MMA production facility in Texas. Read more.
