After 25 years as Lemoine’s CEO, Lenny Lemoine is transitioning to the new role of executive chair. Lemoine, one of Louisiana’s largest privately held companies, is a portfolio company of Baton Rouge-based private equity firm Bernhard Capital Partners.
Lenny Lemoine, who has spent more than 40 years with the construction and professional services company, has now transitioned to the role of executive chair.
Seth Lemoine, a 24-year company veteran, has been named CEO following a formal search and selection process led by the company’s board of directors. He most recently served as COO of the company’s response and resiliency service line.
William Lemoine has concurrently been elevated to COO, overseeing operations across the company’s service lines. He most recently served as president of building construction and COO of the company’s building, infrastructure and program management service lines.
The transition comes after a period of rapid growth for the company, which was founded by the Lemoine family in 1975. Under Lenny Lemoine’s leadership, the business grew from a regional commercial general contractor and construction management firm into a national comprehensive services provider with more than 1,100 employees.
The company generated more than $1 billion in revenue in 2025 and operates in 27 states and Puerto Rico.
Bernhard Capital Partners acquired a significant financial interest in Lemoine in 2019.
“This transition represents both a celebration of Lenny’s extraordinary leadership and a confident step into the future,” the company’s board said in a joint statement. “We are highly confident that the organization he helped build will continue to thrive under this next generation of leadership.”
Lemoine has a substantial presence in Baton Rouge, where it maintains a full-service office at 1200 Brickyard Lane on the Water Campus. The company has helped build several prominent Capital Region projects, including multiple Water Campus facilities, the Shaw Center for the Arts, II City Plaza, The Advocate’s headquarters and Ochsner Medical Complex — The Grove.
