Louisiana has entered into a public-private partnership with robotics firm Persona AI to pilot humanoid robots in an active industrial setting, positioning the state as an early testbed for advanced manufacturing technologies, reports New Orleans City Business.
State officials and Houston-based Persona AI announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to launch a humanoid robotics pilot at SSE Steel Fabrication’s large-scale facility in St. Bernard Parish.
