Mississippi River mayors are developing tools to help communities evaluate data center proposals as AI and data storage demand drives rapid growth, with more than 75% of member cities already approached about hosting AI infrastructure.
The resources include a “Wishlist” to assess risks and benefits and a fiscal framework examining public costs, resource use and community benefits.
