The attendance at the American Society of Safety Professionals’ (ASSP) Safety 2023 Professional Development Conference and Exposition set a new record, reports Occupational Health & Safety.
Safety 2023 saw almost 6,000 people attend the recent San Antonio event in person, surpassing the Safety 2019 record of 5,905 attendees in New Orleans.
“We saw a big desire from safety professionals to network with colleagues and stay current on best practices, industry trends and the latest product innovations,” says ASSP President Jim Thornton in the news release. “It was incredible to see a record turnout so soon after the pandemic.” Read the entire story.
