Venture Global taps Worley to expand LNG export terminal in Louisiana

U.S.-based LNG company Venture Global has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction contract with Worley Field Services to build the second phase of its CP2 export facility in Louisiana, reports Reuters.

After the completion of both phases, the CP2 facility will have a total capacity of 28 million metric tons per annum, which could enable Venture Global to leapfrog Cheniere Energy and become the largest U.S. exporter of the super-chilled gas. Read more from Reuters.
