ExxonMobil is on the hunt for Baton Rouge suppliers to take part in its planned $410 million refinery project.

According to The Associated Press, a Baton Rouge Supplier Forum is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17. It’s part of an initiative to connect with local businesses—in particular, women- and minority-owned companies in the community.

ExxonMobil expects to spend $226 million in Baton Rouge. The company is setting aside at least $3.5 million for diverse suppliers and $1 million for Baton Rouge-based companies. The company notes its needs are diverse, from local catering and marketing to landscaping and pest control services.
