Harvey Gulf launches new subsea venture company

Harvey Gulf International Marine is launching a new subsea venture company, Harvey Subsea Services.

Ed Galloway, formerly of Subsea7/i-Tech7, has been brought on board to build and manage the firm.

At SS7/i-Tech7, Ed was director of the Gulf of Mexico Region, where he ran the company’s IMR business, including related charters and engineering solutions. Prior to this, the Navy veteran spent 23 years at Oceaneering, working in various leadership roles, focused on their subsea business.

In a prepared statement, Galloway said he looks forward to building the subsea service company.

Founded in 1949, Harvey Gulf International Marine is a privately owned and operated marine transportation company that specializes in providing fast supply vessels, offshore supply and multipurpose support vessels for deepwater operations.
