JWF Industries has acquired an 80,000-square-foot plant in Davisville, West Virginia, previously operated by Sunshine Metals of Baker.

The plant’s assets include a 10-foot x 20-foot Onsrud plate mill, a 15-foot x 35-foot Onsrud plate mill, a 20-ton crane with plate suction lifters and four full-time employees. With this acquisition JWF Industries expects to increase its capacity for large-scale manufacturing, including current large aluminum plate.

The company plans to expand the facility with both machinery and employees to increase capacity and options for milling larger plate, according to Tom Polacek, JWF Industries executive vice president, who oversees the management of the West Virginia facility.

JWF Industries designs, manufactures and integrates metal centric products. The company has annual operating sales of approximately $120 million, owns more than 1.1 million square feet of manufacturing space and employs more than 450 professionals in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Texas.
