Virtual event: Economist Loren Scott unveils exclusive 2021-2022 Louisiana economic trends outlook Sept. 15

Economist Loren Scott will exclusively unveil his 2021-2022 economic trends outlook for Louisiana and Baton Rouge in a special livestreamed event planned for next month.

It’s part of Baton Rouge Business Report‘s Louisiana Business Symposium taking place Sept. 15. The sister publication to 10/12 Industry Report is honoring the Capital Region’s Best Places to Work and Top 100 Private Companies in two separate free livestreamed events that day. Scott is scheduled to speak at the 11 a.m. event.

The symposium was originally scheduled as a live gathering at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge, but now is virtual in keeping with restrictions on community events due to the pandemic.

The 2020 Louisiana Business Symposium begins at 8:30 a.m. with an announcement of the 50 companies named as the Best Places to Work in the Capital Region. Peter Burke, president and co-founder of Best Companies Group, which compiles the lists of Best Places to Work for Business Report, will share data about Baton Rouge companies. Viewers will also hear the secrets for building an award-winning company from the six CEOs of top companies on the list in a special panel discussion. Following the event, the Best Places to Work edition of Business Report will go live on businessreport.com.
