Phillip May, president and CEO of Entergy Louisiana, has been an instrumental leader in advancing the state’s energy infrastructure, promoting sustainability and fostering economic development.

Under May’s direction, Entergy Louisiana embarked on a $1.9 billion grid resilience initiative approved by the Louisiana Public Service Commission in 2024. This comprehensive plan encompasses over 2,100 projects aimed at fortifying the electric grid against severe weather events, thereby enhancing reliability and reducing outage durations for customers.

May has also overseen the addition of approximately 3,000 megawatts of modern, efficient generation capacity, including significant investments in solar and renewable energy sources.
