E&I: The power behind every turnaround

Sponsored by Turner Industries

A shutdown, turnaround, or outage can bring a long list of contractors to the gate, each with their own processes, schedule and safety programs. Turner Industries’ Specialty Services Division (SSD) brings that scope under one team, and its electrical and instrumentation (E&I) group carries the work through start-up.

SSD’s E&I crews build and maintain the power and control systems a facility runs on. Services include:
• Grounding systems, MCCs, and medium/high voltage cabling
• PLC programming and control system integration
• Calibration, loop checks, and startup verification
• Panel fabrication and ongoing diagnostics

Planned alongside SSD’s welding, inspection, rope access, and industrial specialty services groups, E&I works from the same schedule as every other scope. The result is one standard, one point of accountability, and a unit that restarts when the plan says it will.
