Members are frustrated by the limited information they have received from elected officials and state agencies and worry about environmental damage, liability protections, strained infrastructure and the ability of their small volunteer fire department and community to handle a major industrial project.

Though the group doesn’t necessarily expect to stop SpaceX, it’s pushing for transparency, environmental review and community input. The Current has the full story.
