Entergy Louisiana LLC announced last week that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cameron LNG for a new electric service agreement that will reduce Cameron LNG’s Scope 2 emissions.

The 20-year long-term agreement, for the procurement of new renewable generation resources, is subject to the approval of the Louisiana Public Service Commission and Cameron LNG.

The agreement is expected to be developed together with a new, renewable tariff option to be be filed for commission review in the coming months.
